Work. Don't you love it?

Well actually - that's not quite as sarcastic as it could be.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather not be rising at 6:30, spending close to 4 hours a day on the peasant wagon, getting in at 7:30 and going to bed at 10 every night so I can get my 8 hours sleep, but other than that its not actually a bad project. Its a small project team of 4 (unlike the 300 strong one at the hole that they call Lytham) and they're all really cool people.

Got the Job

Having trekked what seemed like halfway across Yorkshire to get to my interview today (it was only at Lawnswood in Leeds but public transport's a nightmare!) the interview ended up going, if I'm honest, just about exactly as I expected it to, and they offered me the role pretty much on the spot (after a 10 minute conflab - I'll have to find out what they said) and I start on Monday morning. Unfortunately that means getting out of bed at - just a sec while I check - 7am at the absolute latest. I hate public transport. I'll probably hate it even more once I start spending over 3 hours every day on it!
