Starting to struggle with the knees now. I made the mistake of 'having a lie down' before I went to the gym tonight so I really wasn't in the mood by the time I got there as I was still half asleep. My knees gave me serious issues tonight as well...
I'm determined to keep going, but the more my knees hurt the more I have to change my gait to compensate which is starting to make me strain my calves and hamstrings. At this rate I may well end up breaking myself altogether, but I do still want to keep going.
Once I'm back from holiday I'm going to have to work in rest days in between the running I think - I lasted fine for 10 straight days before my knees started to feel funny so putting rest days in between should mean I can up the distance I run each time without damaging myself again! Plus that means on the off days I can do weight training - if I don't I'll look like someone's let the air out of me by the end of this little project.
Anyway that's the update - I'm still on track and my motivation is still up there, but my body's letting me down at the moment!
