Well it's the morning of day 3 and I'm not feeling too bad. I've made sure to eat properly (3 meals a day) and I've done both my planned runs (just over 3k each). My legs are feeling a little bit shaky and my left knee feels a bit wobbly during the runs but all in all I'm feeling positive about it all.
Big challenge later - I usually buy loads of crisps to eat on the long drive home on a Thursday and convince myself I'll have them as my tea instead of a proper meal. I got petrol last night though so I won't need to put myself in temptation's way. I think I'll do that for a few weeks until I get into the swing of not eating crisps any more. I never should have decided to start eating them again at Christmas - I'd gone almost 2 whole years without a single one passing my lips and for some reason I made the concious decision to start again - big mistake and I won't make it again...!
Weigh-in is tomorrow, so I'll have my first result to work from. Not sure I'll have done all that well because I had a bad weekend and a particularly bad Monday night (eating-wise) but hey ho you never know. Here's hoping...
