I've managed to stick to all the rules so far and I've only actually felt genuinely hungry once all week which was last night and only because it took me a while to cook tea.
Running went well today - the first 10 minutes were really difficult as usual but after that I felt pretty strong. I could probably have done a lot more time but don't want to push too hard too fast - I need to stick to the long term plan of every day for 7 weeks and overdoing it on one day will have a knock on effect for the rest of the week.
The good news is I'm getting to around 3.5k without stopping each time I run so I'm running about a third of the distance I'll be doing for the 10-12k Major Series challenge every single day. That's only going to set me in good stead for when it comes to increasing my distances after holiday.
In other news I'm going to be covering for my manager this week while she's on holiday, so I'm likely to be extremely busy this week which could give me a challenge timewise. I absolutely have to get up early to go to the gym after dropping Wagstaff (my dog) in the kennels tomorrow morning or I'll be struggling to fit the gym in at all because I'm going to Leeds for work in the afternoon. Same goes for while I'm down south - I'm not going to be able to work 10-12 hours a day and then feel like going to the gym so I have to get it done in the mornings.
I've got 90% of the food I'll need while I'm away this week so I just need to remember to take it down with me this time - I ended up living on subway and shop bought sushi last week because I forgot my shopping!
