Morning - didn't go to the gym this morning.
So I fell asleep last night at about 8ish and woke up about half past midnight realising I hadn't eaten anything since lunchtime. I quickly cooked up a stir-fry (which was fairly terrible - one day I'll realise that I'm not a stir-fry fan) and then went back to bed with the full intention of still getting up and going to the gym.
When I woke up though I realised I had't done the work I told myself I was going to do last night, because you guessed it - I fell asleep. So having got up (just) in time to go to the gym, I decided against it and came straight into work instead. I'll go to the gym tonight but that's going to make tomorrow morning a hard session - a bit like Monday's was really. Determined to get through it though.
I had a look at the Major Series Finishing times yesterday from a couple of months ago and it turns out that there's a much bigger spread of competitors than I was expecting. The fastest time was 55 minutes but the slowest was over 3 hours. I was aiming to get it done in about 1.5 hours so if I can that'll actually put me in the top half of the field - not bad for a fat lad, especially as from reading a couple of reports a lot of the people finishing in an hour actually cheated and missed a lot of the obstacles.
